When a creature comes into this world, the others that inhabit it tend to make assumptions based on their frame of reference. If not encouraged to think "outside the box", most thinking creatures will try to stuff everything and everyone they come across into narrow definitions that make them feel comfortable.

But, more often than many think, there are those who are born who fit in no boxes. Who find out, through living, that they are not what everyone thinks they should be. Unfortunately, often those individuals find themselves ostracized: bullied, punished, and driven out.

Xylos knew from very young that they did not seem to fit into any of the categories that others tried to put them in. They tried their best to do what was expected of them, but the harder they tried the more despair and loneliness they felt. Finally, it was too much, and they ran to find a place where they could be themselves.

Luckily, Chaotic Daydreams has a special pull for those who need a haven. Xylos stumbled upon the lair just as they were thinking about giving up and going home again where at least things were familiar. But having now been exposed to other dragons who give not one fig for what they want to call themselves or how they act (as long as they are kind to others), there is no way the tundra can ever go back.

Xylos spends their time helping others working through the indoctrination of the world to find who they really are inside. Nothing delights Xylos more than seeing the light break through the face of a dragon who realizes that they have no limits anymore. Finally, they have found their calling... and they can be anything and anyone they want as they revel in the love that is spread.
