Cloud Cutter Sage

B I O G R A P H Y

Born in a small clan of little notice, Zephyr was always considered to be both suitable for his flight and deeply frustrating at the same time. He drifted where the wind would take him, adoring the sky and wind and clouds, spending much time drawing them in his travels. Unfortunately, he loved the clouds a bit too much; his head was always up in them, and he was considered unreliable, air-headed, and even outright lazy. He preferred to think of himself as laid-back, but regardless, the clan was quite split on him. Zephyr cared little for the thoughts of others, however, and focused his time on the things he did enjoy- namely, his swordplay.

Zephyr spent quite a bit of time traveling, training with his sword and drawing whatever caught his eye, and likely would have spent his life that way, had he not met Notus, the Sky Sweeper Sage. She was intrigued by his free spirit, contrasted by his ferocity in combat, and soon began traveling with him. It came of little surprise to anybody close to Notus that when she passed, Zephyr became her successor, taking on the mantle of the Cloud Cutter Sage.

Despite his new responsibilities, Zephyr remains unchanged from his days of anonymity, usually going whatever direction the wind is blowing, cloud watching, drawing, and training when the urge strikes him. He's considered the most difficult of the sages to contact due to this, as he rarely stays in one place for long, and flies with impressive speeds up into dizzying altitudes.
