Biography
Blood. Red, half dried, sticky blood.
Azalar was hatched on a full, blood moon.
His parents were shocked. The hatchling was thin and tiny, and covered in blood. They didn't expect him to survive.
Azalar had a hard time purging his pearl. Blood was dripping out from his mouth, and it was a sure thing that the hatchling was in pain. The pearl was small, discolored, and more fragile than a normal pearlcatcher hatchling's.
His parents decided to abandon him after a few days, leaving the weak, born-wounded hatchling by on the outskirts of the Scarred Wasteland where it borders the Windswept Plateau. He wouldn't survive a day anyway. He wouldn't eat any food or drink anything that was given to him.
As an adult, Alazar often randomly purges blood, and is almost constantly in pain. He is quiet and nervous, and no doctor has ever figured out what is wrong with him...
