Zahira

Born in secret and passed off in a paranoid rush to a contact, Zahira quickly grew frustrated with being lied to and having to remain unseen. She took it upon herself to find a place were she was truly wanted, a place with no lies. Dedicated to finding the truth, though hesitant to find out why she herself was unwanted, Zahira watches everything, and tends to fall into her old training, lingering in the shadows, though she'll break out of it with casual ease in order to get information.


Unbeknownst to her, Zahira was born with extremely overactive and therefore dangerous magic. Just in her first few days of life, it had threatened to sap away her life force with the strength of spells she cast instinctively. As a result, her parents, fearful for her life, had a spell cast on her to seal away her innate magic. The seal would unlock naturally with time, but her parents left the information with how to unlock it early with their contact, along with instructions for them to teach her when she grew old and mature enough to control it. However, Zahira left the care of the contact in pursuit of knowledge on her background before they could explain. Now, she just assumes that she was born without any innate magic at all, unaware of the ticking clock on the dam holding back the deluge within her.
