The Unnamed Tactical Droid from Kiros (whose name I made up myself)

Whose story will make you cry, unless you are either heartless or Jedi scum.



AU stats:

Powers: Can disintegrate things with pure emotion | obtained due to past betrayal and an explosion

KI-05 is a Tactical Droid whose life was filled with usage and betrayal, to the point where he avoids contact with anyone. During the Clone Wars, he served someone faithfully, only to be used as a last resort weapon and destroyed when he was begging to be saved. Despite being against the Jedi then, he hoped that he would be rescued from an explosive fate, but the Jedi still saw him as a threat and threw him out a window before he was destroyed.

After being brought back to life, all KI could remember was this chain of events, and the events gave him great anguish, overpowering his emotions with sadness, fear, and hate. He didn't trust anyone due to being hurt by not only an ally, but someone who could've become a potential ally - or at least could had shown him mercy. These thoughts made him lose control over his emotions and a huge shockwave shot from around him, causing many nearby facilities to crumble. Despite the great power he now had, KI saw himself as someone who would become a last resort weapon again, and hid inside an abandoned building outside the kingdom. He never allowed anyone inside, much less moved from the bed left behind, and kept away from everyone.

Eventually, KI was found still inside the building by the King of Tactical Droids, TV-94, and his wife, PH-4740. TV tried to convince KI to come out, but failed. However, Pharaoh was able to convince him to at least come to the door. KI listened to their stories, about how every Tactical Droid was treated in a similar fashion, but he didn't trust them after comparing their stories to his. While the others were simply killed by foes, KI was not only used by his leader, but could've been saved when he needed it most. When he told them this, KI became filled with emotion again and caused the house to break apart from his power.

Pharaoh knew how hard it was on KI and embraced him, letting him cry as much as he needed. She's wanted to help him feel better, but knew that KI was never going to recover from the pain. She offered him a place to stay where she'd be able to visit any time he wanted, and while KI took the offer, he still preferred to be alone.

Despite living amongst his own kind, KI seemed to grow worse emotionally. He began to have nightmares about his past and the stories he was told about his comrades, and after waking up from his worst nightmare, fled the kingdom and remained alone in the outskirts, avoiding contact with everyone. Sometimes he would hear Pharaoh calling for him, and while he wanted to see her again, he was afraid of his powers losing control and causing her to die. He eventually found somewhere far enough from the kingdom for no one to see or hear him, but close enough that he could watch over them -- Or at least Pharaoh as she made her rounds every day.

While KI decided to choose to live alone, he can still hear Pharaoh's voice as she sends him messages telepathically, always ending with the same words:

"Even though you're not in the kingdom, you will always be with me, and I will be protecting you."
