Rune

"Good afternoon adoptive parents. Would you happen to have any fish to eat?"

Princess and Hilla look over at Tua in confusion. She shuffles her feet awkwardly. "I saw your first hatchling would be an only dragon, and well, I didn't want him/her to grow up lonely. And Rune here kinda.. reminded me of you guys so..."

Rune looks up at the sky. "I believe that given the direction of the wind today, it will rain in around 2-5 hours. Unfortunately without precise equipment, I can't give a better estimate. We should however, seek shelter indoors."

Hilla tilts his head. "Wouldn't having an additional hatchling to look after be -"

Princess gives him a sharp nudge in the side. "It was sweet of you to think about our nest Tua. Rune dear, would you like to come read a book with me?"

Perhaps because he was born during the wavecrest festival, Rune has always been fascinated with water. Naturally precocious, he always knows where the best places are to catch fish, or when the weather is about to change. Rune has a difficult time socializing or understanding others' emotions, and tends to stick close to his adoptive mother Princess and brother Rowan, who always know just what to say.

As an adult, Rune prefers the peace and quiet of the Hibernal Healing Spa, rather than engaging in clan activities (where he ends up hurting himself occasionally when he gets distracted by water). He is in charge of the spa’s hot springs, which he himself installed - keeping them a cozy temperature for guests.
