Biography

A herald from the Nightcored Realm, formerly known as Flux, who went rogue and is now happily living with the Ascendant Edge clan and gleefully infodumping and being infodumped at in return about My Chemical Romance with their bestie Blackparade. Despite the Nightcored Realm being edgy, it's decidedly bright and sparkly and with nearly everyone mentally linked and under the Edgecrafter's happiness aura, there's very little in terms of real exploration of the darker side of life. This means that upon getting out of the happiness aura, ending up in Sornieth, and getting introduced to MCR, they're utterly fascinated by all things grim, gritty, gross, or otherwise absent from the Nightcored Realm. Even Hazard, the grossest dragon ae knows, still has his eyes behave more like a disco ball than a mass of boils. This has led them to form quite the friendship with Enoth, who is more than happy to have someone who can embrace the plague with her.

As with any other being from the Nightcored Realm, Demolition is totally dedicated to and enthusiastic about their interests and warps reality in aer immediate area in response to them, which is how they acquired their flannel and T-shirt despite Sornieth having invented neither of those things. In the Nightcored Realm, this was fine because everyone else's reality distortion fields kept things in a state of organized chaos. In Sornieth, they don't, so calamity follows them wherever they go. Due to the nature of their special interests, things tend to rot and/or spontaneously combust around them when they get excited. Luckily, their rotting aura doesn't impact dragons or familiars, but it does make cleanup and fire extinguishing of the utmost importance.

Part of why Blackparade is so important, as well as them being besties and chemically bromantic partners is because if they can have someone infodump back at them, it helps control the damages. Attempts to get them to calm down are useless. They live their life sped up and bass-boosted. Anything they do, they do hardcore. Also, it would go against Distorticon's philosophy since while he does support dragons whose edgelording has become destructive seeking healthier outlets, Demolition can't really control it and they're doing the best they can.

However, despite them enjoying themself, trouble is brewing on the horizon as the Edgecrafter has taken notice of one of his heralds going missing. No incursions have resulted yet, but Fera is keeping an eye on the animum fields along with training Demolition in the proper use of their powers and getting her most hands-on experience yet in how the Nightcored Realm's magic works, which she is thrilled with for totally scientific reasons.

Fun Facts
  • That's not Shadow Primal goop. It's self-regenerating, constantly dripping eyeliner.
  • They generated Blackparade a matching flannel, but he hasn't worn it, under the explanation that as a true edgelord, they're not going to copy someone else. Also, he doesn't understand what material it's made out of and frankly doesn't trust it.
  • They're HUGE. Normally, Banescales are pretty small dragons at about 10 feet snout to vent and are pretty skinny. Demolition is pretty skinny as well, but they're over 20 feet long without counting the tail, making them the single largest dragon in the lair, towering over even Distorticon.

Okay so I didn't even realize when I mentioned MCR talking about Corrupticon that you would then have MCR DRAGONS! Demolition is truly gorgeous. I'm a huge fan of squiggle and shadow primal, so they're hitting all my favorite things. Also - so tall!
