Originally hailing from Lumi's clan, Alcina always made the other residents of the clan nervous with his "predictions." He would often interrupt meals or relaxing dragons so that he could go on about some looming danger, and would sometimes trick others out of their food by saying it had gone bad. The other residents would regularly set up bets based on if the "predictions" would come true or not. Of course, the dragons betting against him would win so often that the bets stopped being fun anymore.

Eventually, Alcina caught the attention of ShatteredSky, after saying that he could predict the weather better than her. She gave him the task of letting the scouts know what the weather would be for an entire day. Of course, the Fae ended up being horribly wrong, and few scouts got lost in a blizzard that had hit within a few hours of Alcina predicting clear skies all day long. Luckily, they found their way back, and the clan eventually came together to politely suggest that Alcina should pay a visit to their good friends over at Gestalt. Of course, unable to predict that such a suggestion would result in his exile from the clan, Alcina accepted, and now resides in Gestalt.

Warned by Lumi and used to eccentric characters, the members of Gestalt ignored Alcina's prophecies. They had proven, experienced experts in divination within the clan already, after all. Without the attention he wanted, Alcina stopped causing trouble and began assisting Anesidora and Belladonna, while occasionally going with the clan's scouts on adventures.
