Raised to be a ruler of her birthclan, Wolfsbane fled at a young age, refusing a life within the clan's borders. She lived independently for years, shedding her robes and silks and adorning herself with bones and wings. Upon running into Pebble by chance while hunting, she was convinced to join Gestalt, with the promise that she could continue to hunt and would have no expectations of leadership.

While it has taken her some time to adapt, Wolfsbane has gained immense appreciation for the strategy that goes into hunting as a group. She enjoys the companionship developed with her clanmates, and is very conscientious of the fighting style of every dragon she has worked with. As a result, she is an impressively capable tactician, and while she was initially hesitant to take on a tactical role for outings, she has settled into it, content with the minor leadership her role entails. She will work with Coal at times as well, planning longer outings or more dangerous scouting trips. She doesn't see it as leading at all; rather, she puts dragons where they need to be such that they don't need leadership, and their skills are used to their fullest potential. Regardless of the technicalities of her role, she has embraced the advising that her position entails, favoring Gestalt's less strict social hierarchy and the hands-on role its leaders take.
