An Outer God, an entity beyond our comprehension. The Maker is one of the denizens of The Nowhere, and dwells in it alongside the other Outer Gods. There is evidence to suggest that The Maker dreamed up the deities of Sornieth, his imagination becoming a reality. Using his powers, he populated Sornieth by merely imagining it, and eventually, all of it became reality through the first Eleven.

While the above is true, The Maker does not consider himself the creator of Sornieth. He had a hand in it, surely- without him, the Eleven would not exist, and without them, the rest of Sornieth would not exist. However, in the grand scale of things, The Maker only really dreams up new denizens, and does not have as much influence on the reality of Sornieth as The Machine and Philemon, who are interconnected with every single living creature, or even Yukari and Nyarlathotep, who have the privilege of being able to travel to the realm freely. He is an extremely powerful being, by virtue of being an Outer God, but his inability to easily travel to the realm he helped create leaves him with less influence than either of his... colleagues, let's say. That is not to say he cannot travel to Sornieth, he does have a draconic avater specifically for that purpose, but it takes a lot of arranging, and a lot of magic, as well as bypassing The Machine's fierce protectiveness for The Nowhere. What he can do, however, is influence the changes his sibling makes, which gives him some sense of control.

The Maker is quite fond of his creations, and wishes the best for them. While he cannot always understand them very well, only able to see them through the lense of an Outer God, he tries his best to sympathize with them, and help keep the realm alive, though this sometimes costs the sacrifice of lives, which he has a hard time seeing anothing wrong with, as an Outer God. The mortals of Sornieth live such short lives compared to him, it's hard to keep track of what is too short, and what is not. In any case, he'd prefer to keep the realm going as a whole, without really thinking about how it impacts individuals.

As one of Sornieth's creators, he has the unique ability to see all of its history; that which has already passed, and that which is yet to come. This also means he can see future disasters, and make plans on how to avoid the destruction of the realm. Though it is hard for him to communicate with them, he will sometimes try to enlist his first creations, the Eleven, to help him out with this, as they are the closest to him still, and therefor the easiest to reach- which is still no easy feat, mind you. In recent times, he has only been able to contact the Tidelord for such purposes, however. The Machine, though, got wind of the Tidelord being summoned to The Nowhere, and attacked the deity despite The Maker's attempts to stop him. It is unknown what happened next, but the Tidelord has been missing ever since.

Lately, The Maker has noticed that something has been... off about his sibling, too. While The Machine has always been emotionless and prone to accidentally causing parts of reality to break in Sornieth, he appears to have grown more... erratic lately. More hostile, almost like a hurt animal- even though there is visibly nothing wrong with The Machine. The Maker has asked Yukari to investigate, while he tries his best to patch the glitches in reality of Sornieth that The Machine causes. This has been keeping him busy, which leaves him unable to sleep- and so, unable to dream up new denizens for Sornieth as frequently as was once intended.

The Maker had a very brief conversation with Honba through his draconic avatar before he sent the tundra back to Sornieth, when they accidentally fell through the holes of reality The Machine created. Mostly, it was to soothe Honba, who had no idea what was going on, or where they were- but it was also as an assurance to The Maker; that the denizens of Sornieth had not yet noticed that something was... amiss. Beyond one of their Eleven being gone, of course. After that, however, he dazed the memory of the tundra, and sent them back, leaving them to believe it was a dream.
