Asherah

Pearlcatchers and Imperials rarely get along, but Asherah's parents came from these two opposed species. This gave her a rather isolated, lonely childhood on the Windswept Plateau. She entertained herself by crafting small trinkets from spare materials she'd found. One day, a wandering oracle foretold she'd have an early death, she left her birth clan in order to find a place where she could be truly alive in her remaining days. She knew her mother's parents were of the Nature Flight, and decided to head toward the Viridian Labyrinth. There she found a eclectic assortment of every species and every flight, and she eagerly offered her services to Chiara as an artist and crafter.
Though known be reserved, Asherah adores hatchlings because she always thought she'd die before having some of her own. She's the preferred chaperone on any long trips the young ones take because her Imperial endurance makes her one of the few who can always keep up with the little ones. Often they'll return home with all of the children nestled into her mane, tired and happy from a busy day. Many of the young adults also love her; Farberge views her as an adoptive mother, and Agwe considers her to be a brilliant role model.
