The autumn forest of the Crossway is an amazing place. Living place. The earth breathes underfoot, the leaves in the crowns of trees whisper among themselves, and the birds carry this gossip hundreds of miles away. Every particle of this forest keeps the memory of the ancestors who left the world centuries ago. You just have to listen...
Sometimes the particles of this forest are even excessively alive. Then the branches are woven into a chest, the foliage is glossy like fur, and the earth and clay form a strong, mobile flesh. Living creatures from the tissues of the great ancient Forest, creations created by the will of some wild and unknown creator that fills the foggy morning air. They appear at a random moment in time and roam the forest like ghosts of the past. In winter, they appear a little less often, consisting almost entirely of only branches, small pieces of frozen earth and handfuls of rotten leaves, and they roam the forest much less, as if just looking for a place to sleep comfortably. Oh, look! ..Oh, nevermind, it's just a stump...
This cunning fox... More precisely, these cunning foxes are one of the mysterious creations of the forest will. They were not supposed to be like this, but they are, and they have their own will and their own desires. It is not known whether the forest creator loves them or despises them like a negligent child, or is completely indifferent to them, but this does not change anything. Their body is made of sand and clay from the river bank on which swallows nest; their scruff of the autumn leaves of the blackberry bush; fox skulls are covered with thick hair, like those of real foxes, but a tree sticks out of the shoulder, betraying the creation of the Forest in this creature. They call themselves Jessie and Ruben. They don't always get along, but if you see them giggling about something, they're up to a trick. They are colored like a molting fox, but only their scruffs molt, leaving leaves all over Tyus' house. They love wild berries, but most of all they love trinkets brought from outside the forest. They rush through the forest, sleep in heaps of leaves, chase jays, dig up animal bones, catch fish, bask in the sun. They will teach you to live the same full life in return for that shiny trinket over there...

FAMILIAR(S) — Sister: so these two called the whisk, created by Tyus once from the matter of the Forest. It was a kind of friendly joke about how Tyus got tired of sweeping leaves from the corners of the house after every visit of the twin foxes.
SKILL SET(S) — catch a crow by the tail, catch a perch from the river, smear yourself in the mud beyond recognition, hide a shiny thing from the whole world.
