> whenever she tries to do things in order to avert something horrible it always ends up worse somehow. she has never been able to divert a catastrophe

> Sacred is absolutely terrified of Shiana and her ability to manipulate the future. she thinks that is beyond dangerous; it's inviting misfortune. it doesn't matter how often Shiana assures her she doesn't interfere 99% of the time, that 1% keeps Sacred up at night
> a very soft spoken dragon most of the time because she's used to others trying to manipulate her and prefers to pass unnoticed
> she's not at all accustomed to anyone wanting to be her friend just because they like her
> since arriving at the reliquary she's come out of her shell somewhat, enough to be known as fiercely intelligent, wise beyond her years, and impossibly kind-hearted
> she believes kindness is the only way to make the future better. it's the only thing that's never failed her

ORIGIN / Her birth clan, a ferocious and militant plague pack, tried to use her visions to bring about the destruction of their enemies. Every time they tried, however, it backfired on them and they blamed Sacred. In the end, she fled her home as it burned because staying meant death at the hands of those who used to be her friends. Her old clan met a fate worse than being conquered: it destroyed itself.

Fact / Unlike some of the other residents, Sacred's magic isn't subdued by the magic of the canyon. Even here, she can still see devastation, it's just that no one here wants to use her. It's the first time in her life anyone has smiled at her, been friendly, without wanting her to tell them how to attain power. She knows better than most that the power gained through destruction only ever comes back to bite you.

Likes / Problem solving and learning about anything she can. There are plenty of dragons in the canyon who she loves to have conversations with, like Pencil and Winter and Tahvi. There are so many things in the world that are good. Here, where no one abuses her sight, she finds she actually loves talking to others and being social.

Dislikes / Has a lingering distrust of plague dragons and mirrors (her birth clan was run by them), so Norok makes her uncomfortable even though she's never actually done anything against her. Incredibly squeamish, also, she can't stand the idea of others being hurt or even arguing. She has a lot of anxiety and struggles with it all the time.

Interests / Has a collection of knuckle bones and tarot cards. She can't use any of them to effect, she just likes to pretend. Might start collecting shiny rocks and crystal balls if she can pry any away from Riverstone.
