Imperials, though Mother’s most beloved children are not without their flaws. While most of the breed is content to feign blissful ignorance of their own impurities, others seek to purify themselves. It is believed that the first Sun Crowned ascended the heavens so that they could dip their antlers into the pools of the sun. The sun’s warm light imbued their antlers and seeped into their bodies, creating beautiful markings along their scales. Proving their supreme loyalty and commitment to the Lightweaver, they returned to Sornieth. Emanating radiance with every movement, they pledged their lives to the Lightweaver’s glory. PERSONALITY & HABITS Sun Crowned Imperials love nothing more than spreading knowledge and love for learning wherever they go. They make excellent teachers and can show remarkable patience with hatchlings and slower learners. Many individuals choose to perfect a performing arts skill, which they use to more easily educate others as well as give praise to their Mother. Individuals with more desirable coloration tend to be more ostentatiously flamboyant in every way while those with ‘less desired’ colors are relatively more humble. All Sun Crowned dragons are devoted to the Lightweaver, regardless of acceptable eye colors or where their lair is located. Sun Crowned wake before dawn to dance in the sky as the sun rises and bathes them in Mother’s Light. At sunset, they gather again to dance and sing a lilting, almost haunting, lullaby to the sun as it rests until the next day. QUIRKS & BATTLE Sun Crowned do not seasonally shed their antlers. There is rumor that rubbing a Sun Crowned’s antlers will bestow good luck and fortune...except you’ll need that good luck just to get near them. It is incredibly rare for this subspecies to take part in fighting. They much prefer their books and music and see battle as an entirely too messy business. If a Sun Crowned must enter the battlefield, they are adept spell casters, and their aerial expertise makes them excellent at evading, and even distracting, enemies.

- Even when he is loyal to the Lightweaver and desires to be in her favor, the Mistress of Ceremonies Lilvani is too extreme for his tastes.
