B I O G R A P H Y

______ Marblecrust has a Soft Lightweaver Idol that his father "borrowed" for him when he was a tiny hatchling. Seeing how much joy the toy brought the young dragon, the previous owner didn't mind "loaning" it to him permanently. The mirror has held onto this treasured item ever since then. He remembered being scolded by his parents when he didn't want to give back something he's "borrowed" but their lecture had taught him that "stealing" hurts the other dragon's feelings, and that isn't nice.

While the clan moved to the Earth domain, Marblecrust set out to the Sunbeam Ruins to see the statues of the Hewn City that'd he'd been compared to. While exploring the ruins, his tail brushed against a statue of a beautiful Skydancer whose body had golden patches. Marblecrust found himself staring at the statue, only to discover that this statue could move!

"Um, please don't stare at me," a quiet voice whispered.

"You're alive?!?" he exclaimed.

"I stay still to observe other creatures as they pass. I'm naturally quite shy and do not like confrontation," the Skydancer told him, turning to face him.

The two began to talk about the ruins of the Hewn City and the Sunbeam Ruins more generally. The Skydancer, Gravelhide, invited Marblecrust to stay with her clan. He found them to be very inviting and decided to stay with them for a time. Over the next few weeks he got to know Gravelhide well and decided that he'd like to start a family with her.

Marblecrust was very nervous while awaiting their first clutch. The two eggs were so small, so fragile. He paced back and forth in front of his mate, who sat there calmly. Gravelhide convinced him to sit beside the eggs, feeling how warm and strong they were. He was happy to announce to the clan the arrival of their two daughters: Granitewings and Stoneheart.

Lore for grandchild: Name looks like her mother and grandparents, whom she'd gone to live with. She enjoys spending time in the Hewn City as they do, exploring the ruins. They've shared their love of research with her and she is a curious child. She has perfected her grandmother's hobby of sitting still as stone, and spends hours pretending to be a statue - a game that she entertains herself with while her grandparents are doing research.
