Personality
Elderyth is a wondrous artist, always trying to capture the moment. While he also enjoys most other forms of art, painting is his absolute favorite. He is constantly trying to find new places to set up. The scenery and other dragons are his favorite muses. He's a bit shy, so prefers not to be disturbed, especially when he's painting.
Early Life
Elderyth was born into the Alder Clan that's settled in the Everbloom Gardens. He figured out about the possible move when he was painting and overheard a conversation. He hasn't told anyone but is a little interested in moving.
He has a close relationship with his mothers, Zegai and Isavar. The two always keep a close eye on him when he's painting, making sure he's safe from danger. They heavily encourage his passion for art, wanting him to follow his dreams. He doesn't get along well with his sister, Petran, mostly due to the fact they don't have much in common. But this doesn't bother him too much as he is caught up in his own little world. Elderyth hasn't thought about mating or children. More because he doesn't think he'll ever want that for himself. It depends, though, but he doesn't really think about it right now. Maybe when he's older. No one so far has caught his attention, at least no one that isn't already interested in someone else. But any affections he's had for anyone else have dissipated rather quickly. |

Current
Elderyth is still painting and working with art. While this isn't exactly considered a really productive part of the clan, no one tells him to stop or find a different job. They don't want to take his passion away from him. And he is trying to find uses for it around the clan, like helping organize things and decorate. He isn't that invested in trading or politics but does try and keep up with it from time to time. He usually gets his supplies this way, as the clan isn't exactly focused on getting him art supplies most of the time. One of his mothers is also heavily invested in it all, so he does try and know stuff for her. Although, she seems to have no problem talking his ear off about it all. He enjoyed the move from the Everbloom Gardens to the Gladeveins, finding new landscapes to paint. Elderyth has taken more of an interest in mating and has now found a partner. Reyes has been the only one to really catch his attention. He has always had a strange fascination with her and it quickly developed into romantic feelings. They have mated now and become partners. This came as a shock to even him as he doesn't see himself as a particularly interesting dragon. He doesn't have a familiar, either. not really seeing the need for one when he has his art. Elderyth spends much of his time painting up in the valleys or off dabbling in the arts around the clan grounds. He doesn't like being in one place for too long and usually prefers different landscapes. He is a little avoidant of others, not really understanding why they might want to talk to him in the first place. His family is the only ones he truly spends much time with. He isn't particularly respected around the clan, but he is relatively liked. |
