Orko, more commonly called by his title, was not born to handle the rough life of a plague dragon. Abandoned like many hatchlings, the Rodent did not develop the bite and sting of many of his peers, and instead grew to be timid, skittish, and paranoid. That tendency to lurk in the shadows led him directly into the claws of Lanista and the Pits. Lanista has always been quick to recognize an asset, and encouraged the Rodent's intelligence rather than will, and Orko became the lead scientist on the other side of the Pit's purpose. He began experimenting on Beastclan and dragons alike, with poisons and mutations and all manner of other strange concoctions.
