» Melianthus and her sister were both found by Dust after the Coatl found them in the Tradepark. They had just arrived, but Dust took them in in a snap, deciding to raise the twins as his own.

Melianthus is the historical writer of the Empire of Elegancia, and enjoys staying cooped up with her adoptive father, writing about all the history of Sornieth. She enjoys the history of how the deities came to the most, reading the one book she has on the subject over and over.

When she’s not lost in history, she’s trying to make and write down her own. Instead of going out and talking to dragons—which is something she despises—she asks her sister to do all of that hard work for her.

Melianthus is very shy and secluded when it comes to interaction, which makes it very surprising when someone sees her with such a cheerful and energetic soul as Dust. Despite their huge personality differences, Melianthus loves her father as much as possible. She tries her best to get involved with others, yet she is just not ready yet.

She has also bonded with Hickory, a Spiral mentor that resides in Foggy Hollow. He helps to make sure everything she writes is accurate.
