Noctus was bred and born for the purpose of being sacrificed to the Windsinger - fuel for the fire of the dragon gods battles. She was picked up as a hatchling by Clan Cynefin and bred for their hatcheries - but this was not something she found joy in, either. When her second nest was exalted to the ranks of the Stormcatcher, she felt wrecked and lost. She began collecting all types of flora and fauna to cope - rare insects, strange plants, anything she could give her love to. This, she found, gave her joy. She always has some new life with her, and she found joy in existing again. She found love in the clan - in two different dragons - and was finally happy. Her and her first partner had a nest together, two bright wildclaws. She cared for them deeply, but found she almost couldn't love them the way she loved her fauna. When civil war broke out in the clan and her children were the Mad Queen's right and left hand, Noctus realized why. When the blood and battles ceased, Lady Nocturne reigning victorious, her daughters were sacrificed to the Shadowbinder. She felt nothing for them as they were led away to certain death. Noctus is now even quiet than before and keeps to herself and her partners. Her animals are her family now, and she shies away from unfamiliar dragons.
