➺ Elation has… a lot on her plate. In charge of the city’s technological business, ATOM, as well as overseeing ATOM’s workforce, coordinating the maintenance and development of the Glasshouse (the city’s center for plant agriculture,) assisting Archive with the organization and tech weapons training of Academy students, and being a living lightning conductor for charging superbatteries (it’s a long story,) Elation doesn’t really have time for recreational activities. To most outsiders, she has a very work-oriented, very practical, and somewhat droll personality. She’s in business mode constantly, and doesn’t bother with trivialities and fluff (and politeness) like most dragons do. She takes what she does very seriously, and a large portion of her life is spent either in ATOM labs, in front of a computer, writing in a records book, consulting with the other leaders of the city, or developing new and improved tech implants.

➺ Dragons close to her, however, get to see a different side of her. When Elation isn’t buried in her work, she opens up a bit, becoming more inclined to laugh, smile, and joke around. She’s fiercely loyal to both her friends and her employees, and doesn’t tolerate any disrespect towards the ones that she cares about. She is reluctant to make deep connections due to the loss of her best friend, Eve, but if she chooses to trust you, you can in turn trust her with your life. She is incredibly protective of both her sisters and her mate, Solani. She ended up falling in love with him after rescuing him from a raging lightning storm in the middle of the Shifting Expanse. He was stumbling through the electrified dunes when Ecarht spotted him in a scouting flyby; a rescue team was immediately called, which included Elation.

➺ When they brought him in, the corrupted technology in his second head was sparking on and off, driving him crazy; he was scared and hurt, and didn’t know where he was. Elation and a team of implant surgeons performed an operation on him that temporarily shut off the malfunctioning technology embedded in his neural passageways, and he woke up from his medically induced coma a few hours later. Elation was his primary caretaker (she insisted on watching over the aberration, mostly to keep an eye on the strange implants in his second head.) One thing led to another, and Solani’s sweet, bumbling personality won her over. If anyone even looks at Solani wrong, they’ll have Elation to deal with - and since she has an impressive arsenal of deadly, high-end missiles at her disposal, it would be a good idea to not insult Solani. Or her sisters. Or her employees. You know what? Just try to be polite around Elation, and you’ll leave with all of your limbs intact.

➺ Elation has many brothers and sisters, but the only two that live near her are Centrola and Sultana, twins that both decided to scroll themselves to undertides and live in the sea. She visits them occasionally, diving off the jagged cliffs of the coast and onto the beach far below. They communicate primarily with a virtual messaging platform utilizing subvocalization (developed specially by ATOM programmers.) Elation can sometimes be seen staring off into space, mouthing or subvocalizing words as she sends messages back and forth with her sisters or employees.

➺ Elation refuses to even think about having children - or adopting - which was, in the past, much to Solani's constant dismay. She secretly fears losing any dragon she loves, and the loss of a child would be too much for her to bear. Eve's disappearance - for which she blames herself - took a very large toll on how she views her relationships with other dragons. After several arguments, she finally told Solani this, and he immediately understood and stopped asking her about it. It is doubtful she will ever change her mind on the matter.

➺ As for her personal life outside of ATOM and her loved ones, she has a couple of strange interests, traits, and abilities.

ATOM - an acronym for Advanced Technological Operations Movement - was co-founded by Elation and Eve. Eve is no longer a part of the program due to an AI chip malfunction accident, so the whole program is now led and organized solely by Elation. ATOM currently consists of a permanent workforce that lives in the city, along with annually visiting or long-distance contributors. ATOM receives customers and completes transactions both virtually and in person (many clients are interested in the high-quality computers, nanotech, implants, and other devices that are constantly being developed by the workforce.)

ATOM does not manufacture weapons due to an incident during ATOM’s establishment (a client bought a powerful, newly developed weapon, and then proceeded to set it off inside of lab premises. There were no casualties, but several members of the workforce, including Elation, were severely injured. The client died immediately upon the detonation of the weapon. Shortly thereafter both Eve and Elation agreed that not distributing weapons would be in the best interest of both the program and the city.)

Currently, ATOM has several of the most advanced supercomputers, enhancing implants, and nanotechnology in the Shifting Expanse, and continues to expand with each passing day. Products are not mass-produced but are often put up for sale digitally. Elation occasionally will take custom commissions (particularly if it involves implants, her specialty.) Her position as H.O.T. allows her to, essentially, do whatever she wants with the program - she refuses to take on an advisor or co-head due to personal reasons, so she is the dragon in charge, period. She's a good leader, does her best, and has learned from some of her rash mistakes in the past (such as ordering the development and surgical implantation of an AI assisted brain nanochip without double-checking for code corruption... that didn't go so well.)

ATOM is also partially responsible for the maintenance and upgrades for the Glasshouse, the center for underground plant farming and agriculture in the city. Workforce engineers and electricians provide enclosure structure, lightning, heating, and watering systems, and are constantly developing ways to coax the crops to grow bigger, healthier, and faster.

Ulnari are a secretive sect of warriors personally trained by elite fighters. Also known as Blades, Ulnari are selected for a combination of innate skill, dedication to mastering themselves and their art, and an ability to operate under extreme duress. Put through rigorous tests, Ulnari are only allowed to officially accept assignments and carry out missions once they have graduated Academy, gone through additional specialized training, and successfully completed five personally tailored trials. Once ascended, each dragon must swear an oath to never use their power and skill without reason - especially not to kill. The main role of full Ulnari is to protect the other dragons within the clan, as well as serve as captains when an organized defense or attack is necessary; however, they are also occasionally dispatched on more sensitive missions, the exact nature of which cannot be disclosed.
