Biography
[was: ripple/current/koi imperial w/ common eyes]
> God of the Summer Solstice. > Equal in maturity to a 17 year old. > He is able to freely affect any plants around him by playing his lute, such as causing flowers to bloom, vines to grow where he wants them to, and even kill plants if he so desires. His abilities reach their greatest power during the month of June. The plants that he grows through his music bring positive emotions to anyone that comes near them. > Using his third eye, the emotions of the people around him manifest into visual sensations. When in large crowds it is almost always closed, since it can become overwhelming. > Very social, and is frequently seen wandering the streets and revelling in the vibrant atmosphere of Ma’as and its surrounding area. > Unfortunately his resting expression is a glaring scowl that makes him not appear to be the most approachable at first glance. However, Habotep will gladly go up to other people and strike up a conversation. > Deeply loves the performing arts, and he often spends his free time enjoying street performances. > Tries to learn any instrument he comes by, and is now proficient in most of the instruments of Sekkeheh. He now wants to explore outside of the country and learn from the musicians of Sekkeheh’s surrounding countries. > Though he is extremely extroverted and is rarely seen in his villa, he has a secret area where he goes to be alone. Crafted solely through his own divine energies and hidden deep in his home is his Divine Garden. In his garden, surrounded by lush foliage and the soothing sounds of nature, he finds solace before reemerging to share his warmth with the world. Others can only enter his garden if he allows them in, otherwise they can't see it. > Has a great hatred for gloomy, overcast days. The absence of sunlight dampens his spirits, both on an emotional and divine level; on cloudy days, his powers weaken. On days like these, he spends his time in his garden. > Uses very large gestures and actions when speaking, and frequently ends up hitting things around him by accident. > Covers his eyes with his head wings when resting. |

Gender: Male
Species: Iilh Eel |
Emit > Iilh Eels are actually snakes that strongly resemble eels, not eels. Emit resembles an Iilh Eel, but his fins are feathered and, similarly to Habotep, Emit also has a third eye. > He is actually a Sekpiphu ashamah, a creature sent by the gods to aid their creations in their journeys in the mortal world. > Speaks directly to Habotep through their third eyes. His messages manifest to Habotep the same way emotions do. > He usually floats around Habotep’s head, or rests on his shoulder. Unlike many other Sekpiphu ashamahs, Emit does not ever leave Habotep’s side. > When Emit is in the mortal world, he is about the same size as a small corn snake. However, when he is in Habotep’s garden or some other divine area, he can be up to 275cm. |
Relations
> Habotep’s closest friends are Dusop and Hutchalul, and they are some of the only dracons that Habotep allows in his garden. > Habotep and Dusop met through Autaumit, as she wanted Habotep to show Dusop around the more formal parts of Ma’as’ divine society. Their personalities balance eachother out; Habotep encourages Dusop to speak his mind more often, and Dusop offers a calming presence for Habotep. He only occasionally grows frustrated with Dusop’s more slow-going pace. > Habotep acts as an older brother to Hutchalul as the two try their best to navigate modern Sekke society. Habotep is thankful for Hutchalul’s eagerness to explore outside of the Chalel Temple, and he gladly brings the younger god on all of his adventures. Habotep tries to keep his teasing of Hutch’s naivety to a minimum. > Memazen is the only Council member that Habotep would consider himself familiar with, as he finds the other members far too intimidating and formal to talk to. |

Habotep is so pretty and has such cozy vibes, like a big ol' tree with a swingset that you can sit under and read a book in the comforting warmth of spring turning to summer ~~
