CHESNUT: INNER CLAN - ELDER - EX LAB ASSISTANT AND COOK - SHE/HER
Chesnut is a clan elder and one of Scab's previous coworkers. She gossips with Saranus, but is not as invested in clan politics as she is. Chesnut makes medicines and preserves ancient artisan techniques.
Before becoming a scientist or joining the clan, Chesnut had a family and children of her own. When they went off into the world, she pursued a career, and eventually ended up with the clan. Chesnut is an excellent cook and often works with Zenith to provide the best food for the clan.
Chesnut believes that both Morrow and Charcoal will become joint clan leaders: Charcoal leading the inner clan, and Morrow leading the outer clan. She worries that they will have to team up to banish or kill Fireshell II.
