Nakia

Nakia wandered off as a hatchling and quickly got lost. She wandered aimlessly for days, crying out for her mother to no avail. Finally, she curled up under a scraggly bush while clutching her pearl and hoped someone found her. She wasn't sure if anyone could, she being the same colour as the land around her.

That evening, just as her small body was about to give out, a large, warm body curled up around her. For the first time in days she was warm and at first she thought this must be what it felt like to ascend. It was only when she woke up the next morning that she realized she was still alive and had been rescued by two, beautiful Skydancers, one with ice clan eyes like her own. They introduced themselves: Morpheus was the ice eyed dragon and the other was his mate, Thalia. Morpheus explained they were historians, traveling to various lands to collect the stories from that region and they had been headed back to their boat that would then take them home when Thalia had found her. They offered to help her find her clan but Nakia could remember little to nothing about her birth clan or even in which direction they might be. The two Skydancers shared a look, then Morpheus bent down and lifted her with his jaws onto Thalia's back.

Nakia fit in well with the clan, the leaders embracing her as if she was hatched from their own nests. Rayne seemed to regularly adopt orphans if the number of hatchlings in the nursery was anything to go by but Nakia was happy to have others to play with.

Once she was old enough, Rayne began allowing Nakia to accompany her on errands. It was during one of these trips to barter with the beastclans that her life would change immensely. As she was off looking at the silks, she heard a loud commotion, a dragon roaring and the sound of many creatures running. When she returned to Rayne with her purchase, she found they were now accompanied by a gorgeous male guardian that Rayne called Matthias. Their eyes met and Nakia wasn't sure what, exactly, happened but she knew this young male was going to be with her forever.
