Biography

Centurion

Heart Of The Grove

Many speak of a living tree, deep within the Starwood Strand- where the stardust trapped in the leaves of the tall trees turns hues of brilliant green and gold, and life perhaps of origin from the Nature flight thrums powerfully in the land. Many have tried to figure out the location and purpose of this massive tree, but none have found it yet, much less figured out why it exists and how. In fact many drakes you meet dismiss it as a tall tale, its existence simply something to scoff and roll your eyes at. After all, they say, It’s simply not logical, the existence of such a massive tree. How would anyone miss it among the Starwood? How would anyone be unable to find it?

What most don’t know is the curse inflicted upon it long ago. When it refused to grant a selfish mage’s wish for power, the mage cursed the tree, and it nearly withered and died- but life always finds a way.

The heart of the tree has forced itself to take the form of a tiny, inconspicuous Veilspun dragon. Unassuming, but extremely powerful- life can be given by this tiny sentry, plants grow and animals come to his every beck and call. He can grant wishes, heal illness and ailment, lift the curses of others… However, next to none know of the extent of these abilities. And he seeks to keep it that way. Secretive and serene, this tiny Ancient dragon, with his flickering mane of deep green stardust and blossoming horns, has taken up work with Nyx, hiding himself among the Windswept. Working to keep life, just as he’s always wanted to. The dragons here fascinate and awe him, especially Corthyra, the walking garden, and he is honored to be one of them; but someday, he hopes he can find someone to lift his curse. Someday he hopes to return to his true self, a magnificent green grove in the Starwood Strand, an oasis of health and life from an age long past.
