Perhaps it was fate that brought him to where he stands now, and after so much, Zonati still isn't sure if his existence was meant to be like this. From his rough transition, to the hardships of just living, there had been a lot that had put Zonati to be aggressive towards a lot of people, yet all he wanted was to feel like he had a place in the world of the living. Well...

An encounter in space left him more than just a being of existence, it left him as an example of when something beyond our grasp has something else in mind. Beholder of time, Zonati's affinity with black holes wasn't just an interest, but now a part of him in ways he knows no one else could understand. He always felt out of touch from society, but this...? Having the foresight to see what is to come, to even having a strange presence that is unlike any other, it still has him reeling from time to time. It pushed him back from having a place, and it was rearing up to drive him into madness.

Had it not been for touching base with a few small handful of others, Jack would have never entered his life, charmed his heart, and had him realize that all he needed was someone to ground him. Jack had managed to bring him down to ease off, learn to live a life that he still has even with its daily struggles. While...a family was an unexpected undertaking, it brought him down where he now understood that seeking a place in life will never fill his satisfaction. He just has to live in all it has to offer.

And while he remains grounded, he will always look up to the stars above, still always having that fascination and awe in all it has to offer. Perhaps one day he can return to space given what he now knows, and wields.
