miscellaneous Lore notes/phrases for me to remember, but appear to be random npc dialogue:

"strings/fates guide you." = what an npc would say when you leave
"we've known eachother before." = souleater A has lived far longer than souleater B, and has met them multiple times. aka 'you've forgotten me, but i haven't forgotten you.'
owes dark-blue a few favors. as well as a certain owlcat. soren will never let them live that down...
putting this somewhere so i dont forget: the physical form of a guide is attached to a small stone charm carved in the shape of their animal. they can change forms by changing charms, but if they're ever detached from anything for too long they just dissipate. they can attach themselves to other small objects but if it hasn't got the proper enchantments they're probably just stuck as a rock forever unless someone moves them near a charm.
the charm doesn't have to be held by their guided, though it can be if they wish it, and the guide can hold it inside their own form safely while staying invisible. if the guide's form is ever destroyed they will have to retreat inside the charm to recover. its steven universe basically.
