The Honduran white bat also known as the Caribbean white tent making bat is the only species of white bat in the world. They are most commonly found in Honduras, Nicaragua, Costa Rica, and western Panama. The females can breed up to two times a year only giving birth to one pup at a time. They are among two of the smallest species of bat frugivores in the world and most commonly eat fig. These guys "tent" under leaves as their primary home and up to 12 of these bats will cluster together in their tents at a time.
