Vossius

Ominous but tranquil, Vossius is a lifelong member of The Halls of Usturoi, an order of vampire hunters with chapters all over Sornieth. Inducted into the order following the murder of his family, Vossius has served Usturoi since he was a hatchling.

Wearing plain, heavy robes, and carrying a mace augmented with light magic, Vossius protects innocents from all manner of creatures that go bump in the night. He may be seen traveling with his chapter's brothers and sisters, or lurking the streets alone at night. His sunlight mace is devastatingly effective against vampires and other cursed, night-dwelling creatures.

Vossius is a dark and imposing figure, but strangely calm despite it all. He does not offend easily, and brushes off threats and insults as if they were dust on his shoulders. He holds a great deal of love for dragonkind. This love does not extend to vampires and their thrall however, regardless of who they were before they turned. Vossius sees them as sick pantomimes of innocent people, on the same level as zombies, and he slays them on sight.
