Suspended in the highest reaches above the lair, ghostly forms of slumbering drakes hover, transcendent and eerie. Hung by an invisible thread, the vast number of forms slowly ebb hither and fro, translucent and incorporeal these beings will remain. Her eyes follow the newest addition to the ghostly dance in the highest reaches of the lair, it’s limp form slowly rising and crossing into the Hibernal Realm.

Foayasha and her ancestors have always held this responsibility, observing the clan’s daily activities and taking action to cull the ranks when needed. Now taking on the task of selecting the newest additions for hibernation, or awakening them from their slumber. Her day to day activities may be abruptly interrupted by the need to move a dragon from its place in the lair, immediately into slumber, and no real cause or reason made.

Those around her have learned of her importance, and she holds high regard from the entire clan, as a vessel of the wishes of Sornieth. She communes daily with the priestesses and reserves her energy for these random acts. For when they occur she will be consumed with the need to make her course known and act with haste. Her form moves without her cognition, a vessel of another being, organizing and maintaining order within the clan.

It has been this way and will remain this way for her until it is her time to slumber, and her daughter takes up the responsibility. She waits for this time… a time when she is her own. Not knowing, or understanding, that she is dragonified version of her lairs soul and will. This is how it has been; this is how it will always be.

The observer only feels the desire to procreate at the end of their service; their last duty to produce an heir which will take on the responsibilities as the vessel of the clan's soul. She will seek out a mate who will create the best possible match, and then when the heir is born, she will finally rest. Her daughter will select her for sleep, and rest will finally be allowed for this dedicated servant.
