Coralite

A knight with a prestigious lineage, he gave it up for love. Coralite is the only child of the general Castione, a powerful warrior but too kind-hearted for a life of battle. Before his hatching, the oracle Koutta, now presumably deceased, fortold he would "love none but the sea", which was disheartening for his family, who thought he would leave the clan when he came of age. Coralite was never told about the prophecy. As a child, he spent much of his time playing in the underground river that waters the clan, swimming all the way to the lake at its end or trying to climb up the other end to see where it leads. He collected seashells and other memorabilia from traders, and learned how to fish from them. It seemed very straightforward, at least until Yummeno arrived. Thats when it all made sense. Yummeno was a guardian from the water territory with a hide like the waves, who showed up with a group of merchants. They said he had washed up on the shore at the edge of the desert with no memory, so they brought him along, hoping to help him get back on his feet. When Yummeno and Coralite met, it was love at first sight. The two bonded and have been together ever since, now being some of the older fellows in the upper level.
