Rhagoh is extremely defensive about himself, he doesn't like dragons he doesn't know.

Due to the fact Aberrations are very new they are warry, so it Rhagoh, he is extremely anxious about being betrayed and not being strong enough to defend himself, he only sticks around his mate, who is more confident in her abilities than he is, as she is one of the oldest Aberrations he knows and loves.

Rhagoh would indeed be sticking up for Xariela if she ever failed to protect them both, and of course, he'd be around to help her out durring the battles, his dominant fighting head is his curled horns, as the flatter ones focus on spitting shadow.
