Myst remembers nothing of her past. She only remembers waking up in the mansion, and meeting 'her' remorseful eyes, as 'she' whispered apologies to her, while shedding tears. She remembers asking 'her' the reason for 'her' tears. But, 'she' did not answer, like always, only replying that the mansion was Myst's home now.

And so, Myst stays. Roaming and defending her home from outsiders, because how dare they try to take what was hers. She won't lose this home. Not again. She can't bear to lose anymore than she already has. Please, nomorenomorenomore-

So, she roams and stalks the mansion, asking the foolish intruders question after question, till their foolish answers cause them to forfeit their lives.

A voice inside her whispers, that the questions she asks are ones that only she knows the answers to. The only survivor of the tragedy. She pays it no attention
