My sister and I came from a twin egg.

Pita and his sister had been together since the beginning of their existence. The first thing they knew was each other. They refused to be separated, twining their incredible long tails into a coil so they could always feel the other nearby. Even their movements were perfect synchronized mirrors of the other. Pita began to become dull to his existence. He followed his sister's movements and did everything that she did. And so he became her puppet; and he was her reflection. One day, as they walked along the forest, a terrible blizzard came upon them, and its harsh winds separated them. Pita was anxious. Within the few hours of his sister's absence, he started to experience deep fears, his heartbeat quickening so fast that it nearly burst from the pressure. He assembled himself a companion from the icy fragments around him. Curling up beside the snow dragon, her empty eyes cautiously surveying the wood like a sentry, Pita felt peace. But he also felt a piece of himself that had been overshadowed for so long--individuality. He drifted into a sleep, and dreams entered into his mind.
