Cashmere

A soft, quiet poet with a gentle personality and calm behavior. He's also a big sweet-talker--but only towards one individual.

Autumn's breath blew forth from the skies,
It flowed through my soul, brightening my eyes.
And nigh the meadow's end, who should be found?
There Tulip lay, resting on the ground.

He works at a bed and breakfast (the Rainbow Gumdrop Inn) with Tulip.


Cashmere sat down, gently positioning his quill between his paws and touching it to the sheet of papyrus. What should he write about this time? Tulip. He gave an irritated sigh. She was always the first dragon he thought of when it came to writing. Something about her was just so beautiful. It never mattered that she was not quite like other dragons--her heart was pure and kind, and that was the most important aspect a drake could have. Still, he really needed to write about something different.

His face fell. She never noticed him. How obvious about his feelings must he be? Unfortunately though, anytime he tried to compliment her or try to tell her how he really felt, she would vanish. Was she avoiding him? Was he just unlikable? He sighed, dipping his head in concern and once more glancing at the scroll.

Then there came a soft rapping, a low tapping at his chamber door.

"Tulip," Cashmere greeted in a dreamlike daze, watching the figure before him in awe.

Tulip started to dissolve slightly, her feet melting into more of a disk shape. She shifted uneasily, trying to hold herself together. "Hi Cashmere."
