Biography
Dura
the beekeeper Location: The Timeworn Citadel, the Greenhouse she/her steadfast, tenacious gentle, stable chaotic good ♪ Theme ♪ "I can't bee-lieve you'd say somethin' like that," Benjamin scoffed. "Yeah? Well, I'm not exactly hiving a good time arguing about this, anyway," Fynn retorted. "What, need me to honey my words for ya, darlin'?" Benjamin grumbled. "ENOUGH," Dura groaned, "enough, both of you." The two of them stilled, quietly glancing up at their partner as she got out of her seat and made her way over, wordlessly leering down at them as she leaned in. "No more bee puns," she rumbled, though Fynn thought to find the faintest of smiles play at her lips before she continued, "lest I tell you both to buzz off." |
History
The towering Guardian's intimidating and sturdy build leads many to assume she has the temperament to match, but nothing is further from the truth. Dura has a motherly nature and cares a lot for her fellow residents; and though she possesses plenty of inborn strength, she will only make use of it when absolutely necessary. In her younger years, Dura was a fierce and unyielding warrior; a formidable mercenary and a force to be reckoned with. She was one of the strongest and most able fighters in the clan she grew up in; though one day she simply decided she had had enough, packed up what few things she had to her name and left for the mountains. Dura has since found her peace and quiet with the Timeworn Citadel, having taken up a keen interest in apiculture and tending various large beehives within the Greenhouse. The bees play a vital role in pollinating the many plants and produce, and as there are virtually no threats to the bees within the Greenhouse, the bees from Dura's hives have grown... quite large. Thankfully, they are docile and virtually harmless, and the honey they produce is a highly coveted treat amongst the temple residents. |
Favorite treasures
Dura takes great care of her bees, and her effort is clear in the quality of the honey they produce. |
Plenty of these grow at the riverbanks of the many ponds and streams that can be found in the Greenhouse. The Guardian occasionally uses them to weave baskets in her free time. |
It's a good thing Dura's bees are friendly... look at the size of this lad! |
