A cheerful, laid-back, down-to-earth type, Vaindin loves to relax and make others laugh. He's charming and exceedingly easy to talk to, and he rarely has a bad thing to say about anyone. However, he can be a bit prideful at times, a fact his clanmates are often reluctant to point out due to the very good rapport he has with them otherwise.

He's an incredibly chill dragon, always taking things in stride and never letting things ruffle him. He's not stupid, but his wits are outclassed by the likes of Priscilla and Seraphine. Vaindin is a very active dragon who not only enjoys moving his body, but who also takes pride in his strength and who knows the clan relies on him to be strong enough to keep them safe - thus, he works very hard to be as strong as he can, always looking for ways to improve. In his free time, he likes to keep active, playing sports, running and flying around the lair, and even roughhousing with the hatchings.

In terms of fighters, he's second in command to Priscilla. He takes pride in defending his clanmates and their lair, and he's well-liked and well respected by his clanmates. His softer, kinder attitude balances Priscilla's harsher one well, as he often has a point of view more similar to his clanmates' and is good at playing the middle man between the clan's general bleeding-heart views and Priscilla's crueler ones. He helps reign Priscilla in when she gets carried away and too far removed from what the rest of the clan would want.

Somewhat reluctantly, he finds he often has to play peace-keeper during official meetings that involve both Priscilla and Zircon. He understands where both parties are coming from and is good at coming up with a compromise that doesn't sacrifice what Priscilla feels is best for the clan while also not being so cruel or violent as to upset Zircon.

He's known Andromeda since he was young - they came to the clan together, and he is one of few dragons within the clan who is truly friends with her. He looks up to her wisdom and patience, and finds her to be a comforting ear when he needs someone to talk to.

Vaindin is popular among the clan and has somewhat of a reputation for being attractive and handsome. Despite the fact that he could partner with seemingly whomever he wanted, he's still without a long-term mate - he's not interested in anything serious or committed, as his time and energy is dedicated to his job and hobbies right now. He finds the single life and it's lack of commitments suits his laid-back, day-by-day attitude, and he isn't eager to tie himself down with long-term relationships or a family. He has, in the past, been in a relationship with Bergamot, and though that didn't last, the two remain good friends.
