Vythara

Biography:
Darkstar's biggest fear was of his children growing up to be like him. He knew, from past experiences, that his Nocturne sons and daughters picking up on the same thieving habits that plagued him was an inevitability, thanks to the habitual mimicry that ran so deep in their species. But this time, with this nest... he could tell that these children were destined to be different. Three wonderful little Tundra babies, bothered not by the uncontrollable urge to mimic whatever their parents did. They had some hope to live normal lives, to not fall from grace and become rogue criminals like Darkstar himself, and like so many of his other offspring before them.

Eluped had already moved on. His mate, their absent mother, had insisted on returning to her travels before the babies could hatch -- before they could grow to love a mother who would only leave them. And with a heavy heart, Darkstar chose to remove himself from the hatchling's lives, too... not completely, as he just couldn't bear the thought of it, even if it would be the best thing for them. However, the Nocturne did entrust the dragons in charge of his clan's Nesting Grounds, Shesh and Love, with much of his three babies' teaching and care.

Vythara flourished under the Guardian and Tundra's care, and from the shared lullaby that Love and Shesh both called their greatest treasure, the Tundra hatchling inherited a deep love of music. With a keen sense of rhythm and an utterly boundless excitement for composing music and practicing with all kinds of instruments, Vy was very clearly meant to become a great musician someday! She learned to soothe fussy hatchlings with the same song the young Tundra's caretakers had shared with her when she was little, and her talents would only grow even further from there. She began to branch out into new genres besides that beloved lullaby, though Vy would always stick close to her roots with soft and soothing music, her specialty.

As an adolescent, Vythara chose to depart from her home lair as a traveller, in the hopes of bringing her music to new clans! The Tundra left with a fond farewell to her caretakers, and a... much more curt goodbye to the father she had never known particularly well. Saddened as she was to admit it, Vy wasn't sure if she would even miss that ever-distant Nocturne while she was gone.
