While the melons were off fighting beasts and Forsaken Fruit...the three eggs of Melondy and Fruitsalad lay nested in blankets. A green multi-eyed fae stopped by to watch over the eggs. "Fractal knows you are ready." Cracks in the shell and muffled peeps of those inside made the little green Fae excited.

"Yes. Parents fight hard. Fractal will watch after. Fractal keep safe." The space around the tips of his wings distorted for a moment, but they continued their watch.

The shell of the first egg buckled around the first hatchling. There was a frustrated hiss. Slited green eyes greeted the green Fae. "Fractal surprised. But this one." Compared to her nest siblings she was stockier. She had fins on her head like the green Fae, but bigger, and that bright green tongue slid out of her snout almost as if tasting the air.

Fractal knew this little hatchling's parents. One was Imperial and the other Coatl, yet here was one that was neither. The tips of their wings twitched as they looked over the hatchling. She let out another hiss as to say she was hungry.

"Fractal has food." They handed the hatchling some food and it gobbled the offering down. "Hmmm. Parents not here to name. Fractal will name Honeydew." They watched the hatchling curious. Their multi eyes picking up distortions in space around the hatchling. "Fractal has another friend!"
