Rhea the One Who Flows and Cybele the Cinder Nymph.

Titaness daughter of Gaia and Uranus, Rhea
was imprisoned by her father alongside her siblings until her younger brother, Cronos, overthrew him, became king in his place and took her as consort. They had six children: Hestia, Demeter, Hera, Hades, Poseidon and Zeus, in that order.

Gaia and Uranus told Cronos that just as he had
overthrown his own father, he was destined to
be overcome by his own child. So as each of his
children was born, Cronos swallowed them.

Because of this, Rhea and her parents devised
a plan to save the last of them, Zeus. She gave
birth to Zeus in a cavern on the island of Crete
and gave Cronos a stone wrapped in swaddling
clothes, which he promptly swallowed; Rhea hid
the infant Zeus in a cave on Mount Ida.

Her attendants, the Kouretes and Dactyls,
acted as bodyguards for Zeus, helping to conceal
his whereabouts from his father by clashing spears
and shields to drown out the infant god's cries.
