Born among rolling stormclouds, Irascor has always felt more comfortable in the dark. They head to the shadow domain as a scholar, at first. And there in the gloom, they find their true talent. They learn to move silently, disappearing not only from sight but from all other senses as well. They learn to suppress their magical aura, becoming intangible to mages as well. And once they are able to vanish completely, they are granted a mission: go out into the world and make sure that those who slander shadows are silenced.

Along side them, Azura's mission is equal and opposite: to spread the praises of darkness throughout the land. Irascor is hesitant to leave their home, and more hesitant to keep company with such a talkative dragon. But as it turns out, they grow used to her quickly. And they're not going very far.

Nestled in the junction of several realms, facing the sickening glow of the Forbidden Portal, a new lair has been seeking to invite starlight down to Sorneith: an evil which must not be passed. While Azura goes straight up to them, Irascor sneaks around the back.
