Story & Background
Grotohn is a highly skilled and expert assassin. He travels within Hemonim, as there is always work for him. Nicknamed Barman's Fury, because when he first started working most of his clients were located in small bars and inns, his name exceeds him often. Although he stays winthin the kingdom, he has little to no attachment to it and his limited loyalty only lies to his client momentarely and himself. Despite constantly moving and living in the shadows, he has managed to make a lot of friendships across the kingdom, none of them knowing about his secret identity. He avoids bonding with other dragons though, as best case scenario he will move shortly or worse, find out his job and flee as far away themselves He has spent his teeenage and early adult years doing this job and as he got older, reaching a more mature state of being, he got sick of the pressure and the crimes he commited, even the treasure he earned seemed dull and unexciting. But he has only learnt to do one thing and do it well and being this infamous in Hemonim's streets made it very difficult to quit. Instead, he decided to become a mercenary and after gathering enough treasure, he would retired and rest for the rest of his life. Being in Hemonim's army wasn't easy though, especially after the new king took over, Nodefom, who planned on evading the neighbouring kingdom, Kaderia. He experienced the horrors the new king performed to his subjects, torturing with magic and spells to get whatever he wants, or at times out of entertainment, first hand. Upon his suffering, along with meeting new dragons, Grotohn's morality strengthened and began despising his current state. One of the few dragons he met in the army was Kailea. Although she was rather closed of, he developed a very deep friendship with her, but never let her know of his previous occupation. After many months of being there, he eventually learnt that most of the soldiers there were forced to join, including his friend. This was the final drop for him, the thing that pushed him enough to make him want to change everything. As a retaliation, he deserted Hemonim's army and immidiately fled to Kaderia. There, he offered his services to the king of that kingdom. He was turned down, but not willing to give up, spent years trying to proove his seriousness about the upcoming war, which he achieved. Then he was hired as a spy, working for Kaderia and learning whatever he could about Nodefom's plans. |
