Biography
Three dragons wake up in the presence of the Burning Hunt with no memory of the previous night. The Hunt tasks them with one mission: Kill to Survive.
Armed with nothing but their claws and wit, they struggle against the Hunt's challenges. Will they survive the ordeal intact, perish under the unforgiving claws of their quarry, or become the very monsters they were tasked to kill?
Before Jones woke up at the campfire with Skell and Betrys, he lived in the Mire alongside a Wartoad. He formed a mutualistic relationship with that Wartoad; Jones would eat the parasites and bugs off of its skin while it protected him from the rest of the Mire's residents. Even a pack of Silt Wolves wouldn't try to kill a Wartoad, unless it was already injured from fighting dragons.
Jones is a quiet dragon, and doesn't easily trust other dragons. If he though he could make it through the Hunt's challenges alone, he would have done so, but even when Betrys was alive the trio had trouble against their targets. He vaguely remembers catching sight of a strange Wildclaw a few days before waking up at the campfire, and immediately recognized her when the trio encountered her in a forest. Jones feels guilty about Betrys' fate at the claws of Filipa, but there isn't anything he can do about that now...
The Burning Hunt didn't give him any instructions, only telling him that as long as a campfire burns, he and the others would be safe during the night. Jones refuses to think about what might attack if they forget to make one.
