Biography
C I R R O N O S T R A N A - Apprentice Ex Clan: Cauchemer "......." |
The clouds above him passed by, the air salty as the waters carried him onwards to his unknown destination. Cirro later on his back, his vision blurry and his frail body felt as though it were on fire. He had woken up not too long ago on a raft in the middle of the ocean. He wasn’t sure where he was heading, most likely to one of the clans on the mainland, though he wasn’t sure which direction he was in. The face forced himself to sit up, his delicate wings wrapped around him in a feeble attempt to keep out the cold chill the ocean brought with it. His clawed hand gently brushed against his long neck as he opened his mouth. Cirrus attempted to speak, but was only met with a raspy wheeze. He let out a low groan, flopping back down onto the raft. It seems like the Vow of Silence had worked, the Cauchemer clan had successfully prevented Cirro from ever practicing his speaker abilities again. It felt as though a part of him was forcefully ripped away from him. Being a speaker in his clan meant translating the calls of the Void for the rest of his clan and now that a detrimental part of him was taken, he no longer was Cirro the Speaker. Now he was just Cirro. His eyes closed as he listened to the ocean carry him to the mainlands, or probably somewhere far away from Cruicia if he was lucky. ___________________________________________ When he came to again he felt the raft had stopped swaying. His frail body felt weak and his throat had still stung from the seal placed onto him. He forced himself to roll off of the raft, his aching body landing into the cold dirt below him. As he stared up at the sky, he noticed the twisted and dark trees just in his peripheral vision. He was back on the mainland. The only trees in Cruicia that he knew looked barren as these were located within the Hollows of Yvesis. Cirro forced himself up onto his feet, flapping his wings a few times. They felt tired, yet he managed to lift himself off of the ground. It was better than walking, especially since it seemed his legs were injured judging by the dark red liquid leaking down his turquoise skin. He managed to traverse through the woods, not certain where he was going, but he needed to navigate his way to one of the other clans. If they would even have him that is. The Hollows were usually bordering the Sanguis clan, and knowing the previous disputes Sanguis had with his ex-clan he was doubtful they would be accepting to take in a Cauchemer exile. The blue skies soon became a hazy red-orange as Cirro continues his slow flight out of the Hollows. Some of the trees were beginning to be seen with a few leaves, the sign he was almost out of the woods. It was confusing navigating his way through them for however many hours he had been there, but he was thankful he hadn’t run into any of the Sanguis clan. As he finally came into a clearing with proper trees he fell onto the soft grass, his wings finally giving out on him. He heard some rustling a few feet away from him, but he paid it no mind, deciding he had done enough running for the day and he waited to see what fate had in store for him. |
