Amanita are a mycelial community sharing a singular consciousness and more notably, a singular ego. Amanita is very interested in their looks and the way that others perceive them. Although they may be considered vain, Amanita would argue that they have an uncommonly delicate sensibility for aesthetics. Barnacles

Feline Triskull 		Amanita came from somewhere deep within the Hewn City. They are the sister of Nightshade; the two arrived at the Monastery on a particularly balmy twilight just as fireflies were appearing in the skies. They explained that they had been born as siblings sprung forth on the same day in the same place from some mysterious ethereal power. While they do not have memories of parentage in the traditional sense, they recall that their first sensations of consciousness were surrounded by purplish-red pulsing light, and warmth, as if they had awoken from primordial slumber within the entrails of a great mothering beast. In addition to their own memories of genesis, Amanita and Nightshade have been able to trace stories of a monumental putrid fungal bloom that occurred over one particularly sweltering summer to the same season as their own entrance upon Sornieth.
