• a rather unusual ex-nobility fellow who fled his homeland after it fell under the influence of a shade infected idol, dooming his subjects to a parasitic cycle of worship. despite the rumours that he had fled before the conflict even started the ridgeback had remained and attempted to fight said influence until he could no longer stomach what his kingdom had become. his extremities, tinged in an unnatural soft soot, are scars and remnants of his lost battle.

• is rather giddy and flirtatious to those around him, but despite his somewhat extroverted and friendly manner of speaking he finds it difficult to maintain lasting relationships. he knows this is more or less his own issue, distancing himself the second he feels he's growing closer to another, in fear of losing them down the line. almudena, a sweet spiral, has somehow managed to maintain contact despite his self-sabotages, and he can only hope he can break his destructive habits quick enough to express how grateful he is for her company and kind, comforting words.
