Finest Feathers

Peros raises the finest-feathered geese you will ever meet, as her advertising claims. As a maker of soft down pillows and mattresses, her birds have to have exceptionally soft feathers. Peros is constantly selecting just the right geese to breed ever softer feathers. She’s discovered that as a result of this selective breeding, the geese have much friendlier personalities as well. Peros keeps around a few ‘normal’ geese to help watch over the flocks since their feisty attitudes help deter unwanted guests and predators.
