Biography
Local Man "Not Sorry" For Attacking Residents With Shovel, Says He's "Working Through Some Stuff."
A character I created for Dystopia Rising: Evolution, a post-apocalyptic LARP (though none of those pics are me, as I have yet to bring him to a game.) A half-Vegasian, half-Unborn Remnant born in a town run by a large local gang, Spade spent much of his childhood as a runner for the mob. Once he was old enough to hold a weapon, he started killing zed and collecting taxes from people exiting the Morgue. Not content with merely surviving, his fortunes changed when he met a gravehead named Peat and his apprentice, Arnica. Spade traveled with the two, learning the tools of the trade and joining the eccentric Saniar family of graveheads. His and Arnica's initiation marked a turning point for their relationship and cemented them as each other's anchor to the living world. It wouldn't last, though. Arnica's ambitions outpaced Spade's, and in the end she turned the rest of the Saniar family against him in an effort to rid herself of him and get in the good graces of more powerful allies. Perceived as a danger to their work, Peat and the other Saniar executed Spade. After being dead for six months, strung up above the ground where the Mortis couldn't reach him, he finally came back down and reemerged from the Morgue with no memory of who he was or what he'd lost. The pieces are coming back together, though, bit by bit. Even the things he'd probably rather forget.
