hypnotist / mad scientist

Dr. Voldritch is a trained scientist and has had many years' experience with hypnotism and neurology. His method is that he believes he can control someone as long as they are pampered with no ulterior motives. His style consists of traditional hypnosis, chemicals, technology, and being overly affectionate and pleasant to be around. Because of his personality, it's very easy for someone to be swayed to like him.

Now having taken up residence in Sornieth, Dr. Voldritch (or "Voldie", as he is affectionately known to his friends) has found a safe place to both practice and perfect his craft within the welcoming borders of the Tradewinds Clan. Some dragons are highly skeptical about the ethicality of Voldritch's hypnotic experimentation, but a quick trip to his lab is more than enough to sway them to his side of thinking. One might think that the experience would be frightening, or even traumatic, but this couldn't be further from the truth. Voldritch takes the utmost care of his "subjects", utilizing a surprisingly comfy hypnosis room complete with mood lighting, lavender-scented diffusors, pillows, blankets, plushies, and plenty of headpats (only with his subject's permission, of course) along with soothing words and visualization scenarios throughout the course of a session. One might also spot strange, hypnotic rabbit-like creatures known as Bloofs wandering around his lab, but they're no more dangerous than Voldritch himself - the worst that can happen is you wake up from trance with a pile of them snuggled up on your lap.
