Origins
Being the only hatchling from their nest who pursued a life beyond servitude to their deity, Hyacinth was never really attached to their family. In fact, they don't remember much about their birth clan at all. They left home at a fairly young age with eyes set on their passion at the time: Baking. They loved to bake all sort of things - pastries, breads, cakes - and sell their creations at the market to get a bit of extra money.
While attending a larger baking convention in the area, Hyacinth met another dragon with a slightly different passion. Candi, the candymaker (which Hyacinth found rather comically ironic at the time, considering her name), hit it off quickly with them. The two dragons became friends quickly. Eventually the topic of home came up, and Hyacinth admitted that they didn't really have a clan to live with. They just stayed in the various taverns within the area. Candi was surprised and quickly invited them to Quilrarth clan. Though hesitant, Hyacinth accepted the invitation.
Upon arriving in the clan, they made themself at home. The denizens welcomed Hyacinth and made space for them quickly. They started a small bakery, but after a traveling wine-tasting event visited the clan, they found their new passion. While starting to experiment with the art of winemaking, they also began to find that they had an aptitude for another thing. Combining certain herbs and spices together, alongside using their own magical abilities, was a perfect recipe for an alchemist. Hyacinth started adding certain combinations into their drinks to give the drinker certain effects - essentially creating "potion cocktails" alongside their mundane counterparts.
Their art form was an immediate success, even beyond the clan's territory. They took their drinks to the local markets and sold out within a couple of days. Hyacinth, though proud of their skills, expressed solemn gratitude to Candi for bringing them to this clan. Had she not, they may have never experienced this change in lifelong passion.

Personality
Hyancinth has always been a people-pleaser, often putting too much energy into making other dragons happy. People often assume them to be a happy and content dragon, but they really just want someone to sit with them and ask them if they're okay. They aren't necessarily sad or prone to depression, just tired. They don't make a big deal out of it when around others, though, and their natural magical disposition to the emotions of other dragons makes it easy to act as a therapist and push their own feelings aside.
Sometimes, they feel trapped and lonely. They really want to get close with another dragon, but they're also extremely nervous to do so. They fear vulnerability, though at the same time, strongly desire having someone to love and share their closest feelings with. Perhaps one day they will be brave enough to search for their special someone. In the meantime, they will continue to struggle against their fears and worries.
Hyacinth only began using "they/them" pronouns relatively late into their life, around the same time they began experimenting with winemaking. They've always felt too masculine to fit into their birth gender, and too feminine to identify as a male. It was actually Candi who opened them up to more than two possibilities to choose from, and Hyacinth quickly realized that this was who they were. Sometimes they still get misgendered, but never from the denizens of Quilrarth clan. Sometimes they even find dragons outside the clan who act aggressively toward them because of their identity. They try not to let this get to them too much, but sometimes they can't help but feel out-of-place in their own body.
Although they are still working on self-confidence, they've started to experiment with fashion, finding a special liking for masquerades - though they haven't been to one yet. They like adorning their wings and scales with various textures and color combinations, trying to ignore the fashion "trends" of Sornieth and make their own unique style.
Overall, Hyacinth is a good dragon to come to with any sort of issues in one's life. If they can't help you though conversation, they'll be sure to give you a glass of wine with serotonin-releasing agents infused into it - a bestseller of theirs, after all!
