Lore notes:
Candi enjoys creating sweet treats after which she is named. She creates unique candies as well as classical ones, ranging from hard candies, lollipops, taffies, and chocolates to homemade concoctions and creations.
Her favorite holiday, by far, is Halloween, and she always loves when the young dragons pass by her den with their little costumes and excited faces, saying "trick-or-treat!" She is popular amongst the mothers of the clan, and regularly gets orders even from other clans. Her treats are beloved by hatchlings and adults alike!
Her past is rather mundane. She grew up in a clan within the light territory, with two nestmates. She enjoyed spending time with them and getting into trouble. Her clan was a bit small, with many dragons passing through. As she grew, and began to develop her craft of candy-making, she discovered that her candies often sat on the shelves of her small shop, with few customers to purchase them. It wasn't that she was doing poorly - her clan simply didn't share her sweet tooth. Her nestmates soon moved on to other clans, and she pondered over doing the same. Growing increasingly restless and lonely, she set out to search for new opportunities - and, hopefully, love.
She met a dragon, Nephthys, at a collection of stores. And although she denied her feelings, her heart told the truth - Nephthys was beautiful. The skydancer had greeted her with a smile, holding tightly to her satchels of herbs and medicines. Candi struck up conversation and was soon invited to Nephthys' clan with open arms. Candi was thrilled to have a home once again, and even more thrilled that her nest was so close to Nephthys'.
It was the day after she became a member of the clan, however, that she met a traveler named Tagor. She bonded with him instantly, and had countless conversations with him. He smooth-talked his way to her heart with ease. He told her that he had been meaning to leave and continue his adventures for quite some time, but something kept him from doing so. "Could it have been fate?" Candi blushed so easily at his charm. Still, though, she didn't feel complete. She spent time with him as if they were a couple, but she often found herself staring at Nephthys from across the clearings.
Continuing to ignore her aching heart, she decided to nest with Tagor. She had always fantasized about the idea of having children of her own to spoil with treats and love. She wasn't sure that he would always be around to father them, but she didn't mind. There were plenty of dragons in the clan to look after them if she needed them to, plus she was sure that dragons from other clans might take a liking to them and want to raise one as their own.
During this time of watching over her newly-laid eggs, she explored her desires, despite their unconventionalism. She flirted gently towards Nephthys, who responded with equal friendliness. Candi took this as interest, and began crafting a plan for when Tagor left the clan. To remedy the potential unfaithfulness, she did plan to tell Tagor just before he left that she sought something else.
